Spec Fuel & Tires

2010 Club Spec Fuel

Centennial Park:
Spec fuel for Centennial Park will be Petro Canada "Regular", 5495 Eglinton Avenue West (just west of the track).

Sutton:
The Spec Fuel is Petro Canada "Regular" for all 4-cycle and Subaru classes; spec station is Petro Canada,  24428 Highway #48, in the Hamlet of Baldwin, just south of Sutton.

Other:  Races held at other locations will have different spec fuel locations which will be announced separately on the race-day itinerary, which is posted on the Schedule page of this site one week prior to each event.

When a different spec fuel station is being used for an away race, participants are highly encouraged to clean out their fuel tanks and lines before and after changing fuel.  This will avoid any possibility of contamination of fuel, which could result in questionable readings during post-race inspection.

2010 Club Spec Tires

All 4-cycle Honda classes and Subaru classes will use "MG Yellow", 4.60 front and either 6.00 OR 6.50 rear.

Wet tires for all classes will be MG WZ White, Dunlop KT6/KT8/KT10, and Vega White rain tires designed specifically for wet use.  Any visiting drivers may use the driver's home club spec tires as stipulated for wet use.

The decision to use alternate tires is two fold --  it assists our members in saving money by using up existing tire supplies, and is also aimed at being environmentally responsible.   MG tires can be purchased directly from Centennial Park Mini-Indy, 3-S Go Karts at the Sutton track, or at any other dealer that sells MG kart tires.
