TKC Race # 11 at Batavia International Motorsports Park

Batavia, New York

August 26 & 27, 2006

UPDATE (August 23):  QUALIFYING SESSIONS WILL BE HELD ON SATURDAY AFTERNOON.
In the interest of time, the qualifying sessions have been moved to Saturday, and are expected to
begin by 4:00 pm.   There will be controlled practice sessions all day on Saturday, prior to
the qualifying round.   We understand that the majority of TKC members will want to leave the track
on Sunday as early as possible.  With potentially 13 classes participating in this event, this scheduling
change was made in order to avoid finishing late on Sunday.

UPDATE (August 16):  The SPEC FUEL station has changed.  It is now the MOBIL station, on Route 5, approximately 3 miles WEST of Kelsey Road.

Participants should book their hotels early.  You can find the best prices by booking online.   Below is a link that lists all hotels in the immediate area.  There are also photos, reviews, etc.  You can use this site to do all your online bookings.    Although it is not mandatory, passports are highly recommended for ease of crossing at the U.S. border.

This track is trickier than it looks.  It has significant elevation changes, especially through the banked double monza section at the top.   The elevation changes cannot be seen on the overhead photo.   The circuit is over
1 kilometre in length, with a 183 metre (600 ft)  front straight.
Please phone the TKC club line at 905-831-8088 if you have any questions about this event, or if you need general information about the Batavia area amenities or hotel recommendations.
